Not that I don’t have an appreciation for the fantastic realism or the manga side of things, because the armor is pretty to look at, basically functioning like a sort of on-body art. (Also a good way to sneak in showing off skin if that’s what you’re going for.)

But when it REALLY comes down to it, what are you going to wear in a fight, ladies? A piece of artwork or something that actually protects you from the things trying to run you through on the battlefield? I’m sorry, but unless you had some sort of mega protective shield around you or something, you aren’t going to last very long unless you get some decent armor.

And don’t even get me started on proportions.
